North Korea is preparing to test-fire sophisticated mid-range missiles off both of its coasts, according to South Korea’s Yonhap News.
The report cites a South Korean lawmaker who said North Korea has moved an intercontinental ballistic missile. It also quotes a South Korean government source that said North Korea is prepping “at least three medium-range missiles.”
In anticipation of those launches, South Korea has deployed a warship to the North Korea border, Bloomberg reports.
This news, of course, comes as Kim Jong Il has selected his youngest son, Kim Jong Un, to be his successor.
