A business owned by Ivanka Trump apologized Tuesday for using a major interview to promote a bracelet that costs thousands of dollars.

{mosads}After President-elect Donald Trump and his family were interviewed on “60 Minutes” on Sunday, Ivanka Trump Fine Jewelry sent out an email to journalists promoting the bracelet she wore in the interview.

The 18-karat Metropolis diamond bangle carries a $10,800 price tag and also appears in a gold version costing $8,800. The Monday email called it Trump’s “favorite bangle.”

“This notification was sent by a well-intentioned marketing employee at one of our companies who was following customary protocol and who, like many of us, is still making adjustments post-election,” Abigail Klem, president of the Ivanka Trump brand, said in a Tuesday statement to the Washington Post.

“We are proactively discussing new policies and procedures with all of our partners going forward,” she added.

Ivanka Trump said during the Sunday interview that she would remain focused on her business ventures after her father enters the White House.

“I’m going to be a daughter,” she said when asked about her role in the Trump administration. “But I’ve said throughout the campaign that I am very passionate about certain issues and I want to fight for them.

“Wage equality, childcare, these are things that are really important to me. There are things I feel really strongly about, but not in a formal administrative capacity.”
