Trump to live-tweet VP debate

Donald Trump announced that he will be live-tweeting the vice presidential debate between Democrat Tim Kaine and Republican Mike Pence on Tuesday evening.

{mosads}The Republican nominee on Tuesday tweeted that he will be “watching the great Governor @Mike_Pence and live tweeting the VP debate tonight starting at 8:30pm est!”

Tuesday’s face-off is the only scheduled debate between the two vice presidential nominees.

Trump’s campaign manager, Kellyanne Conway, said Pence will deliver a “fiery” performance and hold the other Democratic nominee accountable.

“He will go out there in a fiery performance, especially for somebody who is known for [being] so low-key,” she said on Tuesday morning.

The debate will take place at Longwood University in Farmville, Va., and will be moderated by Elaine Quijano of CBS News.
