Rush Limbaugh has signed a multi-year extension with iHeartMedia.

Limbaugh, 65, is viewed by many as the most popular conservative radio host in the country, drawing an average of 13 million viewers per week.

{mosads}”I’m thrilled to be continuing,” Limbaugh said, adding that he had seriously considered moving on to something else. “And I really want to be on the air if the Russians find Hillary’s emails.”

Details of the extension — including the length of the contract or amount — were not disclosed by iHeartMedia. Limbaugh signed a deal eight years ago worth an estimated $400 million.

The new contract comes after some industry experts doubted Limbaugh’s staying power.

A Politico Magazine headline in May asked, “Is Rush Limbaugh in Trouble?”

CNN’s Reliable Sources also did a full segment on the topic in May, titled “The Decline of Rush Limbaugh,” which outlined Limbaugh’s alleged difficulty in drawing advertisers.

MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow also declared that he was finished as recently as three months ago. In an interview with Playboy magazine, Maddow said Limbaugh “is really washed up at this point as a radio host.”

“The Rush Limbaugh Show is stronger than ever, experiencing continued ad sales growth and its highest audience levels of the past decade,” said Chairman and CEO Bob Pittman in announcing the deal.
