Trump to Megyn Kelly: ‘I wasn’t so fond of you’
Fox News has released its first promo for Megyn Kelly’s upcoming prime-time special that features a clip of her interview with Donald Trump.
“Let’s talk about us,” Kelly tells the presumptive GOP presidential nominee in the promo highlighted Friday by Ad Week. Kelly mentions the August debate she co-hosted when the pair famously clashed.
{mosads}”I wasn’t so fond of you at the time, I will tell you,” Trump responds as Kelly tilts her head and leans backward while staring directly at the billionaire businessman.
The interview is slated to air during Kelly’s prime-time special May 17, which was announced by the network last month. Portions of the interview will air on Kelly’s show the following night.
Kelly met privately with Trump in Trump Tower in New York in April, following months in which she and Trump feuded.
Trump skipped a Fox News debate she co-hosted in late January, while the pair faced off without issue during a debate in March.
