Report: Captured suspect admits to being Brussels attacker
A terror suspect arrested Friday in Belgium has admitted to being the “man in the hat” seen in airport surveillance video moments before one of two deadly attacks in Brussels last month, The Associated Press reported.
Mohamed Abrini, who has also been tied to the terror attacks in Paris last year, was seen in the surveillance video walking with the two suicide bombers who died in the airport. He fled the scene.
{mosads}Police arrested him Friday.
Abrini and three other men were charged Saturday with being part of a terrorist organization by Belgian prosecutors. The March 22 bombings killed 32 and injured 270.
