Obama’s busy Hawaii reading list

When he isn’t hitting the links or grabbing shaved ice on the beach, President Obama is doing lots of reading during his two-week vacation in Hawaii.

{mosads}The president’s reading list on his island getaway includes his long-time favorite Jonathan Franzen, whose most recent novel, “Purity,” is about a recent college graduate who finds herself entangled in the world of Internet whistleblowers like Edward Snowden and Julian Assange.

Two other works of fiction, Richard Price’s detective thriller “The Whites” and Cixin Liu’s “The Three Body Problem,” are also on the list.

Obama will wrap up the trip with “The Wright Brothers,” a New York Times bestselling biography of Wilbur and Orville Wright by David McCullough.
