Bookstore puts Trump, Carson in ‘Humor’ section
Republican presidential candidate Ben Carson on Tuesday brushed off a photo of his book appearing in the “Humor” section of a Barnes & Noble store over the holidays.
The retired neurosurgeon indicated during an appearance on “Fox and Friends” that he thought his book was placed alongside titles like “Mad Libs” and “WTF? College” as a joke.
{mosads}”There are a lot of people, particularly on the other side, who really have a very different philosophy of America,” Carson said during the interview.
“People like me are a real threat to them, and people like Donald Trump are a real threat to them. But you know, the American people are a lot smarter than these people think. They’re not going to be manipulated as easy as they think they are,” he said.
Carson’s “A More Perfect Union” and GOP rival Donald Trump’s “Crippled America” — both bestsellers — appeared on a shelf of newly released humor books at a Miami Barnes and Noble in a photo posted onilne.
GOP aide Robbie Myers, who shared the image first highlighted by The Daily Caller, quipped on Twitter, “clearly no liberal bias.”
