Joy Behar: I am ‘aroused’ by Sanders

“The View” co-host Joy Behar is swooning over Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) following his performance in the first Democratic presidential debate.

Behar said on Wednesday she found it attractive that Sanders defended Democratic front-runner Hillary Clinton during their contest in Las Vegas the night before.

{mosads}“I thought that Bernie was so mensch-y in that moment, like a real guy. I actually am aroused by him,” she said on the ABC talk show. “I’m serious. I find him to be eye candy, not ear candy, eye candy.

“I like an old Jewish guy who’s a socialist,” she added. “That’s my type of guy. … To me, Bernie is hot.”

Sanders surprised viewers Tuesday evening by backing Clinton during a question about her ongoing email scandal.

“I think the Secretary is right, and I think the American people are sick and tired of hearing about your damn emails,” he said after the former secretary of State addressed the issue.

“Enough of the emails, let’s talk about the real issues,” Sanders added to a standing ovation and a “thanks” from Clinton.

Sanders’s campaign announced on Wednesday it has fundraised $1.3 million over the impromptu moment.

He was not the only Democrat who had hearts racing on “The View” on Wednesday, however.

Former Gov. Martin O’Malley (D-Md.) also has the show’s hosts singing his praises during that morning’s broadcast.

“Everyone gird you loins,” host Michelle Collins said. “That O’Malley, let me tell you something — if I wasn’t voting with my head, I think we know who would be getting my vote.

“I am in love,” she added. “Look at his abs. That’s no dad bod. Those are rock-hard man things.”

The Democratic National Committee is conducting its next debate Nov. 14 in Des Moines, Iowa.
