Clinton sends GOP field her memoir

Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton said this week that she had sent copies of her memoir to her Republican presidential rivals following the last GOP debate, when many said they weren’t aware of any of her accomplishments.

“I listened to that for a while, and then I thought you know maybe they just don’t know,” Clinton said Tuesday at an event in Iowa. “So I have now sent each of them a copy of my book, ‘Hard Choices.’ “

“There are so many of them they could start a book club,” she joked, according to TIME.

Clinton’s campaign reportedly sent a copy of the book to every GOP presidential candidate except former Virginia Gov. Jim Gilmore, who didn’t qualify for the September debate.
Several candidates responded.

Sen. Ted Cruz (Texas) offered to send Clinton’s campaign a copy of his book “A Time for Truth”; former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee brought up the 2012 attacks in Benghazi, Libya; businesswoman Carly Fiorina invoked a line of attack on Clinton’s record at State; and Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal challenged Clinton to watch the undercover videos on Planned Parenthood released earlier this year.
