Obama heckled during immigration speech

President Obama was interrupted Thursday evening during a speech to the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute gala by a protester heckling him to move sooner on immigration.

{mosads}As Obama attempted to reassure frustrated Hispanics that he would take up executive action on immigration reform this year, an undocumented activist named Blanca Hernandez cut him off twice, yelling, “We need relief now!”

“If anybody wants to know where my heart is, or whether I want to have this fight, let me put those questions to rest right now: I am not going to give up this fight until it gets done,” Obama said.

Hernandez was reportedly escorted out by security.
