Rep. Kyrsten Sinema (D) leads Rep. Martha McSally (R) by 3 points in Arizona’s Senate race, according to a poll released Wednesday by Suffolk University.

Sinema’s 45 percent to 42 percent lead among likely voters is within the poll’s 4.4 percentage point margin of error. Eleven percent of voters polled said they are undecided.

The race to succeed retiring Sen. Jeff Flake (R) has drawn national attention as Republicans look to hold onto or even add to their Senate majority during the November midterm elections. The GOP currently has a 51-49 majority in the chamber.

McSally has attempted to tie herself to President Trump, a strategy that is likely to bolster her standing among the president’s supporters, though one that could hurt her overall in a state where 46 percent of voters favor Trump and 49 percent oppose him, according to the Suffolk poll.

Trump endorsed McSally in August, highlighting her military experience.

The Cook Political Report rates the race as a “toss-up.”

Suffolk University surveyed 500 likely voters from Sept. 27-30.
