Kasich: Trump has created a ‘toxic environment’

Ohio Gov. John Kasich blasted Donald Trump on Saturday for creating a “toxic environment.”

{mosads}Trump’s campaign rallies have become increasingly more violent as supporters clash with protesters. Kasich said the violence “makes it extremely difficult” to still support Trump if he were to become the GOP nominee, The New York Times reported.

“Donald Trump has created a toxic environment, and a toxic environment has allowed his supporters and those who sometimes seek confrontation to come together in violence,” he reportedly said at a news conference on Saturday.

But the jabs came from both sides on Saturday. Trump slammed his rival during a rally in Dayton, Ohio, calling Kasich “not the right guy” for the White House and blaming him for the economic collapse and the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA).

“Kasich was a managing director” at Lehman Brothers, Trump said at a rally in Dayton, Ohio, on Saturday.

“He was right in there dealing with the big boys, all the people who dealt the horrible decisions.”
