Carson would not abort baby Hitler
Ben Carson says he would not abort a baby Adolf Hitler, becoming the latest GOP presidential candidate to add to the social media buzz on the topic.
“I’m not in favor of aborting anybody,” the retired neurosurgeon says in a video posted Wednesday when asked by an SB Nation blogger after Tuesday night’s GOP debate whether he would abort Hitler.
{mosads}Another Republican candidate, former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, fielded a question earlier this week about killing Hitler as a baby, saying, “Hell yeah I would!”
“You gotta step up,” Bush told The Huffington Post on Monday.
The New York Times Magazine posed the question to followers last month on Twitter, prompting an ethical debate on social media.
Carson has repeatedly made headlines for invoking Hitler during the campaign, including suggesting in September that a Nazi government could happen in the U.S.
