Mika Brzezinski slams Clinton’s ‘pathetic’ Sanders claim
MSNBC host Mika Brzezinski on Tuesday slammed Democratic presidential front-runner Hillary Clinton’s claim implying rival Bernie Sanders was being sexist.
“No,” Brzezinski responded flatly on “Morning Joe” on whether the sexism suggestion was merited. MSNBC co-host Joe Scarborough called Clinton’s remarks “pathetic.”
“That was pathetic,” Brzezinski agreed. “That was ‘Veep.’ It was worse than ‘Veep,’ it wasn’t funny.”

{mosads}Clinton said during a Democratic women’s leadership event Friday that she was told to stop “shouting about gun violence.”
“Well, first of all, I’m not shouting. It’s just when women talk some people think we’re shouting,” Clinton said.
Sanders responded on Sunday, saying his calls for people to stop “shouting” about gun control weren’t aimed at women and that Clinton was “misapplying” his remarks.
“What I was talking about very clearly is that all across this country, we’ve got people shouting at each other, we’ve got to calm it down,” he said on CNN’s “State of the Union.”
“I know sexism, Hillary Clinton knows sexism; she should know better than to let her staff make her do that,” Brzezinski continued Tuesday.
“When we talk about sexism, we talk about women and equal pay and all these things that are important. Let’s not denigrate it with that stupidity,” Brzezinski said.
