#WhyIRefusedMyWhiteHouseInvite trends after Trump, Rapinoe trade barbs
Twitter users chimed in on why they would turn down an invite to President Trump’s White House after U.S. women’s soccer star Megan Rapinoe said in an interview last week she’s “not going to the f—king White House,” if the team wins the World Cup.
Trump fired back at Rapinoe after her comments saying she “should WIN first before she TALKS.” {mosads}
#WhyIRefusedMyWhiteHouseInvite trended on Twitter Sunday afternoon, with users taking digs on the Trump administration and weighing in on why they agree with Rapinoe’s comments.

Although Rapinoe has no plans to tour the White House, she may still make a trip to Washington, D.C., if the team wins. The soccer star accepted an invitation to the House of Representatives by Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.)
