Protester uses paraglider to fly ‘Trump: Well Below Par’ banner over Trump’s Scottish golf resort

A Greenpeace activist and paraglider flew over President Trump’s Scottish golf course on Friday night carrying a banner reading “Trump: Well Below Par.”

Scottish police say they are looking for the activist, and that the protest was a criminal offense because it breached a no-fly zone, according to The Associated Press.

{mosads}The stunt occurred as Trump visited his Turnberry golf resort as part of his multiday trip to the United Kingdom.

Greenpeace said that the move was intended to protest Trump’s environmental and immigration policies, and claimed that the president was seen “making for the entrance breaking into a trot” as the glider approached.

Trump was met with hundreds of thousands of protesters as he arrived in London for his first visit to the U.K. as president, and dozens of other protests are expected during the rest of the trip.

A major Scottish newspaper published a full-page editorial ahead of his arrival declaring Trump an “appalling human being.”
