Warren to rally Wisconsin college students for Feingold

Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) will campaign for former Sen. Russ Feingold (D) in Wisconsin next week, according to a campaign official for the former Democratic senator.

{mosads}Warren will headline rallies targeting college students in Madison and Milwaukee on Oct. 7, the official said.

Feingold, who is challenging incumbent Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wis.), has also been boosted by support from another liberal lawmaker, Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.), who fundraised for the Wisconsin Democrat in May.

Warren’s visit was first reported by Madison.com. 

According to RealClearPolitics, Feingold has a comfortable lead, outpacing Johnson by an average of 9.7 points in state polls.
