Sen. Tom Udall wins reelection in NM
New Mexico Sen. Tom Udall (D) won reelection on Tuesday, even as his cousin, Sen. Mark Udall (D) in nearby Colorado, was defeated.
{mosads}Tom Udall, who was first elected in 2008, defeated Republican Allen Weh in a race that was called quickly after polls closed in New Mexico at 9 p.m. ET.
Udall’s cousin, Mark, was defeated by Cory Gardner (R) in his own bid for reelection in Colorado in a closely watched race that helped Republicans take Senate control for the first time in eight years.
