President-elect Donald Trump will spend more time with President Obama learning the ins and outs of the presidency, according to a report in The Wall Street Journal.
The president-elect’s team reportedly was unaware of the fact that he needed to hire a full White House staff upon taking the Oval Office.
{mosads}Trump and Obama met last week following Trump’s victory in the presidential election. According to the newspaper, Trump’s communications director refused to comment on those specifics.
Trump is the only American to win the presidency having never served in the military nor having held elected office.
The president-elect announced his first White House staff appointments Sunday, making Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus his chief of staff and former Breitbart executive Stephen Bannon his chief strategist and senior counselor.
