Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani (R) said early Sunday that the presidential election came down to ObamaCare.
{mosads}”You know, I actually think it was ObamaCare,” Giuliani told George Stephanopoulos on ABC’s “This Week” when asked if he thought FBI Director James Comey’s letter caused Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton to lose the election.
“The blue states we were able to turn red — and basically haven’t been read since Ronald Reagan — I think ObamaCare was the bigger hit, the fact that those premiums hit on Nov. 1,” Giuliani, a top adviser to President-elect Donald Trump, said.
Trump broke “the blue wall” in the presidential election, winning several states that traditionally go blue, including Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin.
A government report released late last month warned that healthcare premiums would increase by an average of 22 percent next year.
