Obama campaign manager: ‘Never been as wrong’ about anything as 2016 race

{mosads}David Plouffe, the campaign manager for President Obama’s 2008 bid, said Tuesday night that he had “never been as wrong” about anything as he was about predicting Hillary Clinton having 100 percent chance of beating Donald Trump to the White House.

“Never been as wrong on anything on my life,” Plouffe tweeted. “Still a beating heart in WI and the 2 CDs. But sobriety about what happened tonight is essential.”

“I’m sorry everyone. Had to talk to my kids,” he added in another tweet. “Wrong and remarkably so. But the idea of our country has always been stronger than an election.”

In late September, the Democratic operative, who was also an adviser to Clinton, predicted that the former secretary of State had a “100 percent” chance of winning.

“I know 100 percent sounds crazy, but I’m gonna stick with it, because the Electoral College puzzle here is definitely in Hillary Clinton’s advantage,” Plouffe said on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe.”
