Trump hits Bush, Graham for not voting for him

Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump slammed former President George W. Bush and Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) Tuesday for not voting for him.

“It’s just absolutely insane because he gives away, you know something would happen for whatever reason. All you’re doing is giving up the Supreme Court. You know, that’s another thing we can talk about,” Trump said of Graham’s decision to vote for independent candidate Evan McMullin in an interview with the Howie Carr Show Tuesday.

Graham, a former 2016 presidential candidate, tweeted earlier Tuesday that he cast a vote for McMullin, a former CIA officer running with support from prominent conservatives who refuse to back Trump.

Trump and Graham have been feuding since July of 2015. Graham was one of the first Republican politicians to voice criticism of Trump during the Republican primary.

“But look, I beat him very badly in the primaries. People forget that but he didn’t even register in the primaries,” Trump added.

Trump also said former President George W. Bush is “sad” for not voting in the presidential race. Bush and his wife, Laura Bush, left the top of their ballots blank, voting Republican in the rest of the races.

“I think it’s sad,” he said. “I think it has no impact.”

The billionaire spoke fondly of New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady, who Trump says voted for him, and coach Bill Belichick.

Belichick reportedly wrote Trump a letter before Election Day, in which he commended Trump on his performance in the presidential race.

“It was just very routine other than it was a beautiful letter,” Trump said.

Before the end of the segment, Trump ramped up his attacks on Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.), who he has long claimed is not of Native American heritage.

“So we call her Pocahontas I think she’s a total phony,” he said. “I just don’t have respect for her.”
