RNC chairman seeing ‘a lot of surprises here at the end’

Republican National Committee (RNC) Chairman Reince Priebus on Sunday touted Donald Trump’s chances in the presidential race.

{mosads}”We’re seeing a dead heat. In fact, we’re seeing that all over the country, seeing that in Pennsylvania, seeing it in Colorado,” Priebus said on CBS’s “Face the Nation.”

“There’s a lot of surprises here at the end.”

Priebus said the Republican nominee has the “momentum going into Tuesday.”

The RNC chairman called 2016 a “wild political year,” noting he doesn’t think anyone can say the year has been “normal.”

He also touted the Republican’s operations in Michigan and Wisconsin.

“They’re very good operations that we’ve spent millions and millions of dollars in,” Priebus said.

“We believe that Pennsylvania and Michigan and Wisconsin could quickly move onto our board.”

With the election just days away, many recent polls have shown the race tightening both nationally and in battleground states.

Both major-party nominees are making their final pitches as voters get ready to head to the polls Tuesday.
