A Hillary Clinton rally Saturday in the key battleground state of Florida was shortened unexpectedly by a sudden rainstorm.
{mosads}Clinton spoke for only eight minutes at Pembroke Pines, Fla., before driving rains cut the event short.
As the rain began to intensify, the Democratic nominee sought to fire up her supporters and end the rally on an enthusiastic note.
“Now my friends, you are a hardy bunch, standing out here in the rain. I don’t think I need to tell you all of the wrong things about Donald Trump. But here is what I want you to remember,” Clinton said.
“I want to be the president for everybody — everybody who agrees with me, people who don’t agree with me, people who will vote for me, people who don’t vote for me!” She exclaimed as the crowd cheered her on.
“So lets get out, lets vote for the future, lets vote for what we want for our country and our children and our grandchildren. God bless you!” she said, waving to supporters as she left the stage.
