Trump, Pence headed to Minn. as they seek to expand map: report
Donald Trump and Mike Pence will both campaign in Minnesota in the final days before Election Day as they take aim at flipping a blue state, CNN reported Saturday.
{mosads}Trump, the GOP presidential nominee, will campaign in Minnesota on Sunday, while his running mate Pence will make a stop in the state Monday, the report said.
Minnesota has voted Democratic in the last 10 presidential elections. Hillary Clinton leads the state by six points, according to a polling average, although the state has been only lightly polled this year.
Trump is casting a wide net in his campaign’s frantic final days. Between now and Election Day, he has events scheduled in Florida, North Carolina, Nevada, Colorado, Iowa, Pennsylvania and New Hampshire.
Trump’s most likely path to 270 electoral votes involves sweeping the swing states of Florida, North Carolina and Ohio, and picking off one or two of a list of traditional blue states like Pennsylvania, Nevada, Virginia, Wisconsin or Minnesota.
