Donald Trump on Saturday began one of the last rallies of his campaign by complaining about the foul language used by rapper Jay-Z at an event for Hillary Clinton.
{mosads}“He used language last night that was so bad, and then Hillary said, ‘I did not like Donald Trump’s lewd language,’ ” Trump told supporters in Tampa, Fla.
“My lewd language. I’ll tell you what, I’ve never said what he said in my life.”
A tape leaked in October revealed a 2005 conversation in which Trump vulgarly discussed groping women, including an exhortation to “grab them by the p—y.”
Clinton on Friday hosted a star-studded rally in Cleveland to boost her support in the final days leading up to the election. The event featured celebrity stars including Beyoncé, Jay-Z and Chance the Rapper.
Trump on Saturday claimed that his Friday rally at the same time attracted a far bigger crowd than Clinton’s celebrity-packed event.
“We don’t need Jay-Z to fill up arenas,” he said. “We do it the old fashioned way.”
