Dem elector says he won’t vote for Clinton

A Democratic elector in Washington state says he won’t cast his vote for Hillary Clinton, even if she wins the state’s popular vote on Tuesday, according to a new report.

{mosads}Robert Satiacum supported Bernie Sanders during the Democratic primary, according to the Associated Press, and as a member of the state’s Puyallup Tribe, he said Clinton doesn’t support American Indians.

“She doesn’t care about my land or my air or my fire or my water,”

Satiacum said Clinton is a “criminal” who has “done nothing but flip back and forth.”

“She will not get my vote, period,” he told the Associated Press.

Earlier this month, the Democrat floated his refusal to cast a vote for Clinton.

Clinton is expected to win the state and its 12 electoral votes, and currently leads Trump by double digits, according to the latest RealClearPolitics average.

State law requires electors to sign a pledge to vote for the winner of the state’s popular vote.

Satiacum faces a $1,000 fine in Washington — a penalty in the state for a “faithless elector.”
