Clinton campaign cancels Iowa event after officers killed
Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton’s campaign has canceled an event in Iowa following the shooting deaths of two police officers in the state.
{mosads}The campaign had scheduled a Get Out the Vote event in Des Moines with Democratic vice presidential nominee Tim Kaine and former President Bill Clinton.
Scott Michael Greene, now in custody, is suspected of ambushing two police officers in Iowa early Wednesday morning.
Officers from Urbandale, Iowa, and Des Moines were gunned down in their patrol cars at around 1 a.m.
Police said the attack appeared targeted at officers.
