Melania Trump will give a speech in suburban Philadelphia Thursday, the Trump campaign announced Sunday.
{mosads}The Republican presidential nominee’s campaign has not released other details.
It will be Melania’s first public speech since the Republican National Convention, where she was criticized for cribbing portions of first lady Michelle Obama’s 2008 Democratic National Convention speech.
Melania rarely appears on the campaign trail, choosing instead to stay in New York City and care for the couple’s 10-year-old son.
But Donald Trump said last week that Melania would give “two or three speeches” before Election Day.
“She’s amazing when she speaks. She is an amazing public speaker. So she’s agreed to do two or three speeches, and I think it’s going to be big speeches, important speeches. I think it’s going to be great,” Trump said on ABC.
Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton leads Donald Trump in Pennsylvania by 6 points, according to a RealClearPolitics average of state polling.
