Trump campaign condemns supporter who chanted ‘Jew-S-A’

The Donald Trump campaign on Sunday condemned the anti-Semitic actions of a supporter, calling it “completely unacceptable.”

{mosads}A widely circulated video of a Trump supporter shouting “Jew-S-A” at reporters covering a rally in Phoenix, Ariz., angered many viewers, with critics arguing that it shows Trump appeals to racists.

Asked by CNN’s Jake Tapper if she would call the supporter “deplorable,” Trump campaign manager Kellyanne Conway said “Well, yes.

“I would. His conduct is completely unacceptable.”

Tapper also suggested that Trump, the Republican presidential nominee, has made racists feel comfortable about displaying their feelings in the open.

Conway pushed back, saying, “I think that’s incredibly unfair.”

“I think that’s incredibly unfair. The campaign I run, Jake, seriously?” Conway asked.

“Not you. But Mr. Trump has refused to condemn in a very serious way his racist and anti-Semitic fans,” Tapper said.

“He’s never said, ‘I don’t want the support of those people.’ ”
