Sunday shows preview: FBI investigation takes center stage

FBI Director James Comey’s announcement that officials are reviewing new emails potentially relevant to the investigation into Hillary Clinton’s private email server is slated to dominate the Sunday morning shows.

Comey’s announcement, which rocked the White House race within two weeks of the election, came as GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump’s support had deteriorated in recent weeks.

{mosads}Trump’s campaign will seek to take advantage of the announcement Sunday, with Trump’s running mate Indiana Gov. Mike Pence, campaign manager Kellyanne Conway and surrogate former House Speaker Newt Gingrich joining the morning shows.

Vice President Joe Biden and Clinton’s campaign manager Robby Mook will have an opportunity to counter the trio and shield the Democratic nominee from potential fallout over the revelation.
