Donald Trump’s wife says a “political machine” is protecting Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton’s campaign.
{mosads}Asked what she thought about Clinton “as a person,” Melania Trump on Thursday said, “I don’t know her that well. I think she’s out there fighting.”
“I think it’s a political machine behind her. She’s protected a lot. And they will not say everything what needs to be said,” Trump added on ABC’s “Good Morning America.”
Donald Trump, the Republican nominee, frequently calls Clinton “crooked” and claims the election is “rigged” in her favor. He called Clinton a “nasty woman” during last week’s presidential debate, spurring outcry.
Despite Clinton’s lead in most polls, Melania Trump said she still expects her husband to win the election.
“Life goes on, no matter what happens,” she said about the outcome of the election.
When asked if she thought her husband was going to win, she said: “I think so.”
“We’re fighting till the end.”
