New Hampshire poll: Clinton up 4 points
Hillary Clinton has a 4-point lead over Donald Trump in the swing state of New Hampshire, according to a new poll.
{mosads}Clinton, the Democratic nominee, is favored by 41 percent of likely voters, and Trump, the GOP nominee, is backed by 37 percent, according to the WBZ-TV/WBZ NewsRadio/UMass Amherst poll.
Libertarian nominee Gary Johnson has the support of 6 percent of likely voters, and Green Party nominee Jill Stein is backed by 3 percent.
Clinton has the support of 84 percent of Democrats, and Trump is backed by 73 percent of Republicans, pollsters found.
Clinton has an 8-point advantage among women, 42 percent to 34 percent.
She and Trump are essentially tied among men, 40 percent to 39 percent in Clinton’s favor.
Clinton also has a large lead among voters ages 18 to 29, 52 percent to 14 percent. Trump, meanwhile, has an advantage among voters older than 55, 44 percent to 40 percent.
Among voters with a college degree, Clinton has a 7-point lead, 42 percent to 35 percent. The GOP nominee has a slight lead among people with a high school degree or less, 40 percent to 38 percent.
The poll was conducted from Oct. 17 to 21 among 772 likely voters. The margin of error is 4.5 percentage points.
According to the RealClearPolitics average of polls in New Hampshire, Clinton has a 6.5-point lead over her Republican rival, 44.5 percent to 38 percent.
