Trump: Clinton has ‘less energy’ than Bush

Donald Trump on Wednesday likened Hillary Clinton to Jeb Bush, saying she has “less energy” than his former GOP rival.

“Here’s a woman, she makes a speech for 15 minutes, she goes home, goes to bed,” Trump said during a rally in Charlotte, N.C. “Honestly, she has less energy than Jeb Bush. I mean it.”

{mosads}The Republican presidential nominee took aim at Clinton after facing criticism for taking a break from the campaign trail to attend a ribbon cutting ceremony for his new luxury hotel in Washington, D.C.

“Here’s a woman, goes home and goes to sleep all the time,” Trump said at his rally, touting the multiple events he holds on some days. “She’s got no energy whatsoever.”

Trump has frequently questioned Clinton’s “stamina” to serve as president. The Democratic nominee has hit back at his claims and at past presidential debates listed her experiences as secretary of State as evidence she’s up for the task.

The real estate mogul on Wednesday used his old tagline that Bush had “low energy” in the Republican presidential primary as a way to frame Clinton’s stamina.

Trump also knocked Bush, who took a pledge to vote for the nominee of the party, for refusing to back him for president.

“And the reason I bring him up, he didn’t sign the pledge, so he’s open game,” Trump said. “How do you live with yourself?”
