Vetting has begun for positions in Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump’s Cabinet, his campaign manager said Tuesday.
{mosads}Kellyanne Conway told CNN’s Wolf Blitzer that Trump’s transition team, led by New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, has begun vetting potential cabinet members.
“Yes, because we’re going to win, so we have to get ready to form a government,” Conway said.
“Along those lines, we find many talented people who would like to serve in a Donald Trump-Mike Pence administration.”
Conway went on to say the campaign isn’t being presumptuous by planning ahead in terms of who would serve in Trump’s Cabinet.
“We’re doing it because it’s a very serious prospect to form a government in a very small time,” she said.
