Clinton reaches out to voters ‘reconsidering’ support for Trump

Hillary Clinton on Friday reached out to voters who are “reconsidering their support for my opponent,” saying she hopes to earn their votes, according to CNN.

{mosads}”I know you may still have questions for me,” she said at a rally in Cleveland. “I respect that, I want to answer them, I want to earn your vote, I am reaching out to all Americans, Democrats, Republicans and independents.”

“I hope that as we move through these next 18 days, everyone thinks seriously about what you really want to see, not just in your next president, but in your lives, in your jobs, in you education, in our future together.”

Clinton has made a number of appeals to Republican voters who are turned off by Donald Trump.

Her campaign repeatedly highlights the notable former GOP officials who have backed her candidacy, and seizes on criticisms that sitting Republican lawmakers have made about their own nominee.

The two nominees are in a tight race in Ohio, with RealClearPolitics average of polls showing Trump up by less than 1 percentage point.
