#TrumpBookReport mocks Trump’s debate answers
Just hours after the final faceoff between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump, social media erupted with a new hashtag mocking Trump for some of his debate answers.
{mosads}After St. Louis Alderman Antonio French posted that “Trump’s foreign policy answers sound like a book report from a teenager who hasn’t read the book,” the #TrumpBookReport took off.
Trump’s foreign policy answers sound like a book report from a teenager who hasn’t read the book. “Oh, the grapes! They had so much wrath!”
— Antonio French (@AntonioFrench) October 20, 2016
Some of the parody tweets used Trump’s zingers from the debate or his infamous rally one-liners to poke fun at what the GOP presidential nominee might say if he wrote a book report, likely without reading the work in question.
The Huffington Post was the first to begin aggregating responses, with BuzzFeed quick to follow.
The Hunger Games are rigged, folks. Everyone knows Katniss won because she played the woman card. Nasty woman. Very rigged. #TrumpBookReport
