Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump on Thursday got distracted by a mosquito during remarks at a campaign rally.
{mosads}During the rally in Ohio, Trump stopped speaking and waved his hand at the mosquito.
“Get that mosquito out of here,” Trump said, to laughs from the audience.
“I get a little nervous with mosquitoes nowadays folks. But up here you haven’t been hit yet. Right? That’s what we need, is a nice mosquito bite,” he continued.
“Mosquito bite, right smack in the middle of the nose. No, we don’t want it.”
The GOP nominee appeared to be referring to the Zika virus, a mosquito-borne disease that causes birth defects.
In Florida, just more than 1,000 people have been diagnosed with the virus.
