Hillary Clinton has a 3-point lead over Donald Trump in Florida, according to a new poll released Thursday.
{mosads}Clinton, the Democratic presidential nominee, has 41 percent support among likely voters, with Trump, the Republican nominee, at 38 percent, according to the poll by the Public Opinion Research Laboratory at the University of North Florida.
Libertarian nominee Gary Johnson has 6 percent, and Green Party nominee Jill Stein is backed by 3 percent.
In a head-to-head matchup, Clinton’s lead over Trump widens to 7 points, 47 percent to 40 percent. The result suggests third-party candidates are drawing more support away from the Democratic ticket than the GOP.
The poll was conducted from Sept. 27 to Oct. 4 among 696 registered likely voters. The margin of error is 3.8 percentage points.
