McCaskill offers Trump ‘Mean Girls’ advice

Sen. Claire McCaskill is turning to an unconventional source for her latest jab at Donald Trump: the 2000s teen movie “Mean Girls.”

The Missouri senator, who supports Democratic White House nominee Hillary Clinton, offered “some ‘fetch advice'” for the GOP presidential standard-bearer on Monday.
{mosads}McCaskill tweeted out a gif from the 2004 film, including narration from Lindsey Lohan’s character that “calling somebody else fat won’t make you any skinnier. Calling someone stupid doesn’t make you any smarter. …All you can do in life is try to solve the problem in front of you.”

Lohan’s character, Cady Heron, comes to the conclusion after realizing that making fun of her opponent’s makeup won’t help her win a math competition.

In a different scene of the movie, Lohan’s character is asked what day it is, and she replies that “it’s October 3rd,” which has led to the date becoming known as “‘Mean Girls’ Day.”

McCaskill has increasingly turned to Twitter to blast Trump, including last week floating that the Republican nominee should have a “public daily weigh in” after multiple instances of him calling women fat resurfaced in the news.

Trump has been locked in an an entrenched rhetorical battle with former Miss Universe Alicia Machado after Trump criticized her for gaining weight.
