Breitbart polls: Clinton, Trump close in NC, Pa., tied in Minn.

Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump’s presidential race is tight in two states and tied in a third, according to new Breitbart News/Gravis Marketing polls.

Clinton leads Trump by 1 point in North Carolina, 3 points in Pennsylvania and ties him in Minnesota in the surveys released Monday.

{mosads}The Democratic presidential nominee leads Trump 44 percent to 43 percent in North Carolina, while Libertarian presidential nominee Gary Johnson grabs 7 percent and 5 percent remain unsure. The RealClearPolitics average of polls in the state shows Trump with a minor edge of 0.3 points.

Clinton boasts a wider lead over the Republican presidential nominee in Pennsylvania, meanwhile, edging him 46 percent to 43 percent there. That’s similar to the RCP average that shows her ahead 45.4 percent to 43 percent.

Johnson captures 3 percent, as does Green Party presidential nominee Jill Stein. Another 6 percent are undecided.

Clinton and Trump are tied at 43 percent in Minnesota, followed by Johnson’s 4 percent and Stein’s 2 percent. Another 8 percent remain uncommitted.

Breitbart News/Gravis Marketing conducted its latest sampling of 694 likely voters in North Carolina via telephone surveys on Sept. 23. It has a 3.7 percent margin of error. The RCP average has Clinton ahead 4 points there.

The pair’s freshest sampling of 949 likely voters in Pennsylvania, meanwhile, occurred using telephone interviews on Sept. 23. It has a 3.2 percent margin of error.

Breitbart News/Gravis Marketing’s Minnesota sampling included 906 likely voters there following telephone interviews on Sept. 23. It has a 3.3 percent margin of error.

Stephen Bannon took a leave of absence as chairman of Breitbart News to serve as the Trump campaign’s chief executive last month.

Clinton has repeatedly linked Bannon to the hardcore extremism of the “alt-right” movement as a means of criticizing Trump’s ideology.

Recent polls show Clinton and Trump’s White House race tightening at both the national and state levels.

Clinton leads Trump by about 2 points nationwide, according to the latest RealClearPolitics average of polls.
