Clinton super-PAC raises $12 million in June

Pro-Hillary Clinton super PAC Priorities USA reported that it raised $12 million in June.

{mosads}That brings the group’s total amount raised in the 2016 election cycle to more than $100 million, including another $900,000 raised in a joint fundraising agreement with Emily’s List, an organization that supports women in politics.

Priorities also has $42 million in commitments and about $40 million cash on hand.

The super-PAC has backed a slew of ads in critical swing states, reserving $158 million in television and digital advertising space.

“The first two days of the Republican National Convention have been filled with some of the most vile, hateful and divisive remarks ever seen in modern political history, and it’s been a sobering reminder of just how important our work is,” Guy Cecil, chief strategist for Priorities USA, told The Washington Post.

“We can never let someone as divisive and dangerous as Donald Trump become our president, and Priorities is grateful to our donors for helping us do everything we possibly can to keep him out of the White House.”
