Trump reveals summer reading list
Donald Trump is opening up about what he’s reading when not on the campaign trail.
The presumptive GOP presidential nominee told The Hollywood Reporter about the books he’s currently working through.
{mosads}“I’m reading that Ed Klein book on Hillary Clinton,” he said, an apparent reference to Klein’s 2015 book “Unlikeable: The Problem with Hillary.”
“And I’m reading the book on [former President] Richard Nixon that was — well, I’ll get you the exact information on it,” Trump continued, without offering more details.
“I’m reading a book I’ve read before, it’s one of my favorite books, ‘All Quiet on the Western Front,’ which is one of the greatest books of all time.”
“All Quiet on the Western Front,” written by Erich Maria Remarque, describes the life of German soldiers struggling in World War I. Remarque served in the German military during the conflict.
Trump ate lunch with Klein last month while campaigning in Indiana.
Klein was reportedly working on a new book while shadowing Trump for several days.
Trump, who has written multiple works on business and politics, often touts his best-selling “The Art of the Deal” while addressing audiences. He has frequently called the Bible his favorite book.
