The Twitter account of late Toronto Mayor Rob Ford tweeted for the first time since his death, posting on Friday a message for the U.S.: “Go Trump Go!”

“Happy that Rob’s phrase of ‘Stop the Gravy Train’ is playing a part on who is going to be the next president of the USA,” a first message said.

The accounted then tweeted a link to a story quoting Trump using the Ford slogan at a rally in West Virginia Thursday.

“You know why it’s Never Trump? Trump said. “Because I’m going to stop the gravy train for all of these consultants.”

Ford died from cancer in March. He was Toronto’s mayor from 2010 to 2014. He received widespread attention in 2013 for his admitted drug use and erratic behavior.

Before his death, he praised Trump, calling him “a very successful man and a very good candidate for president.”

“A lot of the media were taking shots at him and making it out to be a joke, but in the end it will be them who will be surprised,” Ford said last June. “They can laugh all they want but Mr. Trump is a very successful man and a very good candidate for president.”
