GOP Massachusetts gov: I won’t vote for Trump

Massachusetts Gov. Charlie Baker (R) says he won’t vote for GOP presidential front-runner Donald Trump in the November general election.

“I said I wasn’t going to vote for Trump yesterday, and I’m not going to vote for him in November,” Baker said Wednesday, according to The Boston Globe.

{mosads}Baker, who endorsed New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie before he dropped out of the presidential race, had not previously closed the door on supporting Trump if he won the GOP nomination.

While talking to reporters at an elementary school in North Andover, Baker maintained that the Republican primary is not over.

“I’m not willing to concede that the Republican nomination is over and, frankly, you know, you guys shouldn’t either,” he said.

Trump racked up seven victories on Super Tuesday and extended his massive delegate lead as he marches toward the nomination.

Among Trump’s Super Tuesday wins was Baker’s home state of Massachusetts.
