Danny Glover rallies for Sanders in South Carolina

Actor Danny Glover rallied supporters of Bernie Sanders late Sunday as the Democratic presidential candidate battles for support among black voters in South Carolina ahead of Saturday’s primary. 
 
“Don’t you feel the Bern?” Glover asked a crowd at a rally in Greenville, S.C., before the candidate appeared with him onstage.
 
{mosads}Glover kicked off his introductory remarks by speaking to the state’s history of slavey before characterizing Sanders as an advocate for civil rights during his decades in Congress. 
 
Sanders has rolled out a series of endorsements this month from civil rights activist Harry Belafonte, former NAACP President Ben Jealous and others heading into South Carolina.
 
Clinton, who picked up her second early-voting victory with Nevada on Saturday, has held a major lead, especially among African-American voters, ahead of the South Carolina Democratic primary. 
 
Earlier in the day Sunday, Clinton’s campaign rolled out a second ad in South Carolina that features actor Morgan Freeman narrating a spot for the former secretary of State.
