Fiorina releases new ad in Iowa

Carly Fiorina launched a new ad for her presidential campaign in Iowa on Friday that cast her as a voice that has repeatedly challenged the status quo.

“We need leadership in the White House now that will unlock the potential of this great nation by challenging that status quo,” Fiorina says at the start of the ad.

{mosads}“That’s what Carly Fiorina has done her entire life,” the ad then states, highlighting a quotation from Fortune Magazine on how Fiorina had “obliterated” the glass ceiling.

Stephen DeMaura, executive director of CARLY for America, said in a news release that the country needs a president who has experience in the private sector and understands the economy. 

“At a time when our national debt is out of control and taxpayers dollars are wasted,” DeMaura said, the president needs to know how to “turn our country around and give it back to the people.”

Fiorina, the only woman in the GOP field, has been struggling in the 2016 presidential race. She was not polling strong enough to make the main stage of last week’s debate on the Fox Business Network.
