Jindal offers Christie a juice box

Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal targeted New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie during Tuesday night’s GOP undercard debate, offering him a juice box.

During one segment of the debate, Jindal blasted Republican majorities in Congress over their fight against ObamaCare, illegal immigration and a nuclear deal with Iran.

{mosads}”If they fooled us once, shame on them. If they fooled us twice, shame on us. Don’t let them fool us again,” Jindal said about electing hardline conservatives.

“Chris, look, I’ll give you a ribbon for participation. And a juice box,” Jindal added.

“But in the real world, it’s about results. It’s about actually cutting government spending, not just talking about cutting government spending,” Jindal continued.

Christie pushed back, saying, “We stopped ObamaCare in New Jersey because we refused to participate in the federal exchange.”

Like in several other portions of the debate, Christie then turned his focus to the Democratic presidential front-runner.

“But here’s the bigger issue, what do you think is going to happen when Hillary Clinton is elected president of the United States?” Christie questioned.

“The woman who tried to impose healthcare on this country over 20 years ago?”

Christie was relegated to the undercard debate with former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee after appearing in the prime-time slot for the first three GOP debates.

Jindal, who has consistently polled in the bottom tier of candidates, appeared in the undercard debate at the first three debates.
