Trump cancels ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live!’ visit

Donald Trump is bailing on his scheduled appearance on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” Tuesday night.

The GOP front-runner is planning on booking another visit for a later date instead, according to CNN Money.

{mosads}“Due to a political obligation, Mr. Trump is rescheduling his appearance and looks forward to being on the show in the next few weeks,” a Trump spokeswoman told the news outlet.

Trump’s move may disappoint ABC and Kimmel given that he visited competing late-night talk shows earlier this fall.

The outspoken billionaire has appeared in recent months on both CBS’s “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” and NBC’s “The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.”

Fallon now has Tuesday night’s most significant political guest, with Democratic presidential front-runner Hillary Clinton appearing in a re-run on his show.

Kimmel, for his part, expressed excitement over Trump’s visit during an interview last weekend and promised a unique setup.

“I’m not interviewing him,” he told CNN Money on Oct. 18 of his face-to-face with the business mogul.

“It will be in studio, it’ll be live and it’ll all make perfect sense when you see it,” Kimmel added. “It’s going to be a surprise.”

Trump is also scheduled to host NBC’s “Saturday Night Live” on Nov. 7.

That honor has drawn condemnation from Latino advocacy groups that find Trump’s rhetoric on immigration offensive.

Trump argued on Tuesday that the anger would produce record ratings during his performance on “SNL.”

“I know these groups,” he told host Alisyn Camerota on CNN’s “New Day.” “I get hit with this stuff all the time. They go around and look for money from people. … They only care about themselves.

“I think they’ll only drive the ratings up higher,” he added.
